World Bank International Essay Competition
Application Deadline: 23 March 2008
In collaboration with the Government of Norway and the Cities Alliance, the World Bank is organising an essay writing competition for youth between 18-25. The theme for 2008 is ‘Shaping the City of Your Dreams’ and they invite practical and innovative ideas about how best to manage the urban future spaces. The prize is a $5,000 cash prize and a trip to Cape Town, South Africa to attend a prize-giving event and conference. For more information: http://www.essaycompetition.org/
