New website for mediators and divorcing parents

By lizkramer

An Indiana charitable foundation has created a free website giving divorcing parents an easy-to-use interactive chance to focus on their children’s needs-and to use that focus as the foundation for their future interaction. The site is www.UpToParents.org. It has a “Professionals Corner” showing how mediators can refer their clients to the site as preparation for better success at mediation. The creators (mediators themselves) encourage professionals to try the site as a hypothetical parent in divorce. There’s even a separate site, www.ProudToParent.org, for never-married parents.

Questions about the sites and their usefulness in mediation can be directed to Charlie Asher of the Freedom 22 Foundation via Charlie@UpToParents.org
