Position Available: Community Mediation Maryland – Office Administrator

Job Duties:
- Manage CMM organizational projects as directed by Executive Director.
- Design and print brochures, newsletters, annual reports, and other materials for CMM.
- Support training programs through provision of photocopies, handout designs, and material coordination.
- Support AmeriCorps program through handout designs, photocopies, and other administrative duties.
- Collect and enter program statistics and enter data for grant reports.
- Pay bills, invoice clients, track payments, reimburse expenses and input all information into Quickbooks.
- Coordinate Payroll, including tracking staff hours and leave, work with Paychex Payroll Service to disseminate paychecks/W-2s
- Prepare outgoing mailings, and sort, log, and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain CMM central calendar & schedule building use with other organizations.
- Assist with fundraising events and activities.
- Maintain mailing list for organization.
- Prepare for meetings, trainings, and conferences, including communicating with participants, preparing materials, and coordinating food.
- Manage office needs within budget, including purchasing supplies and equipment, acquiring services, etc.
- Serve as first line phone contact, responding to inquiries and maintaining accurate records of all communications.
- Manage computer software to maintain the organization’s administrative needs.
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
- Some travel around the state required.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Publisher, PowerPoint, and other software as well as networking technical support
- Attention to detail and follow-through and ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with people of diverse ages, ethnicities and education levels
- Ability to use good judgment, respect confidentiality, and exercise sensitivity when confronted with conflict.
- Trained as mediator a plus.

Report to and evaluated by the Executive Director
Salary: Low $30K’s plus health benefits, possibility of higher salary depending on bookkeeping experience
